Weir

Pay for the hours you book. Get back the hours you don’t use.

Pick a GPU, how many, an image and how many hours. You see the price before you pay, it comes out of your prepaid balance, and unused whole hours come back if you release early.

How billing works. Four rules, no small print.

Weir charges for the compute time you book and the optional data disk. If you choose to keep a machine’s disks after it ends, storage is charged by the hour. There are no other fees.

Prepaid

You add funds to your Weir balance first. Every rental is paid from that balance, so nothing is billed afterwards.

Hours, days or months

Book by the hour, the day or the month. From 24 hours a lower day rate applies, and from 30 days a lower month rate. Compute and any data disk are charged up front when the machine starts.

Quotes hold for 2 minutes

Prices and availability can change. The quote you see holds for two minutes, and that is the price you pay.

Automatic refunds

Release a machine early and unused whole hours of compute and data disk go back to your balance, less a cancellation fee of up to 5% where one applies. You don’t have to ask.

A worked example. Release early, get hours back.

You book 5 hours and release the machine after 2 hours and 10 minutes. The hour you were in counts as used, so 3 hours are charged and the 2 untouched hours are refunded to your balance.

Pricing, answered.

Where do I see prices?

In the console, for each GPU model and count, before you pay. Prices and availability change, so the console always shows the current numbers.

Are there any other fees?

Only one, and only if you choose it: storage for disks you keep after a rental ends, charged by the hour. Otherwise Weir charges for the compute time and the optional data disk you book. Early releases may carry a cancellation fee of up to 5%.

Is a partly used hour refunded?

No. Refunds cover every whole hour you haven’t started. The hour you release in counts as used.

Why does a quote expire?

Prices and availability can change. A quote holds for two minutes so that the price you see is the price you pay.

How do I add funds?

Top-up options are being finalised during early access. Request access and we’ll tell you how to fund your balance.
